Timber Frame Survives the Earthquake in Haiti

by LCTF Admin |  January 28, 2010 |  News

During the January 22nd broadcast of ABC’s Good Morning America, news anchor JuJu Chang was taped amidst the devastation of the earthquake in Haiti inquiring about possible surviving family members of a friend of hers from the U.S. Towards the end of the segment she came upon the old house that her friend’s grandfather had built prior to Haitian independence. While almost all around it lie in ruins, this
old house – a timber framed home – still stood.
