The work has wrapped up at the Cooper Grist Mill in Chester, New Jersey. The pictures below show the flume in about 90% complete condition. Tomorrow – April 2nd – the flume will be filled with water from the reservoir across the road, and the mill fired up for the first time in a year. All eyes will be on the 3″ thick spline tidewater cypress flume boards to see if they will hold water.
