Addition to an Historic Farmhouse

by LCTF Admin |  February 4, 2010 |  News

This week Lancaster County Timber Frames was awarded a contract to fabricate and erect a timber frame for an addition to an historic farmhouse in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The architectural design is by Pierre deVitry, RA of Lancaster. The addition is intended to blend with the existing structure. Thick stone walls recreate the deep window wells of the original house. The timber framed roof system utilizes reclaimed, re-surfaced timbers and authentic finishes.
