Timber Framing Internships

by Tim |  May 26, 2016 |  News

Over the years Lancaster County Timber Frames has hosted more than a dozen interns from five different institutions. This summer we have two.

Patricia Anna Willis, a Georgia native, is a sophomore majoring in timber framing at the American College of the Building Arts in Charleston, South Carolina. Besides a desire to work with wood she has a passion for art. She thinks of timber framing as a field in which she can do both. Patricia is also a certified rock climbing instructor. Her summer internship centers on our shop and field operations.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, John Keeports recently finished his junior year at Messiah College. He is majoring in mechanical engineering and hopes to pursue a career in the aerospace industry. In addition to his engineering studies, he is working on a philosophy minor and enjoys various outdoor activities. John is serving a summer internship in our design office.
