Jobes

This hybrid timber frame residence perches atop a wind-blown hill with a spectacular panoramic view of the Susquehanna river far below. One of the most common hybrid timber frame “packages” is the great room-kitchen-dining room-exterior porch configuration. This version incorporates a breezeway that leads from the garage to the back door, and an exterior deck at the panorama side of the house. The floors are of Brazilian cherry with radiant heat. The main area of the house has a barn-like feel, with soaring cathedral ceilings culminating in a cupola that brings extra light into the middle of the space.
