Description: Covering 130,000 square feet and replacing the 87 year old original facility, the new one-million dollar plus Gettysburg National Battlefield Museum and Visitors Center opened to the public on 14 April, 2008. LCTF was awarded the contract for all the timber framed areas which included: the bus lounge, the saloon, the main lobby, exterior porches and the patio trellis.

LCTF, Inc. worked together with LSC Design, Inc., Keystruct Construction, Inc. and Kinsley Construction to provide the three to four phases of timber framing required. This project was designed by LSC Design, Inc., Gallagher & Associates, and Cooper Robertson & Partners to be a structure that would blend well with the landscape, protect the resources of the park and allow visitors to better grasp the meaning of this sacred American soil and the Civil War.

LCTF, Inc. is proud to be a part of this project, which opened April 14, 2008 and plans a "Grand Opening in September 2008.
