The Leiberman Residence Great Room

Description: Cut from Kiln Dried Red Oak, these simple trusses have a hand hewn appearance we accomplished by using a curve-bladed power planer. The result is a classic old time look as if it were new. This room has timber framed walls down the sides with the kingpost trusses sitting on the plates. The use of low voltage lighting produces a graceful up lighting, which highlights the finish of the frame and creates a warm and cozy space, while still maintaining the feeling of openness and freedom.
